About me

I am studying the final year of an eight-year grammar school in Hradec Králové. After that, I am going to attend university to study special education and teaching for the first level of primary school. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends or with my two dogs. I have been actively working with children for three years through scouting. Since I was fifteen, I have been leading children aged four to seven. We have weekly meetings, occasional weekend trips (even for night) and we also go on camp together during holidays. There are usually around 13 children, but I'm not alone in supervising them. Working with children has been my passion since childhood, when I used to babysit my sister or neighbours' children. In the last two years, I have spent at least four weeks each summer at a day camp, where children with special needs were also included. This day camp was for children from preschool age to teenagers, and we always went on trips (to a castle, a fairytale trail, an aquapark...) or I organized a full-day program for them. I believe I approach children with compassionate understanding, kindness, and patience.
