About me

We are a household that loves all animals, but dogs the most. A mother and a daughter who literally treat each animal to wellness 😁 in the form of endless cuddling, paw massages and long regular walks. My daughter is 5 years old and has been taught how to behave around animals since she was a child, she has also looked after large breeds with us, see photos and is taught how and what. I don't leave her alone with animals, and I don't even let her walk the dogs on a leash. We ourselves had a dog until November and for the first time in my life I don't have a dog, so we will use the break between getting another one to help with the babysitting :). In the summer, I took care of an older retriever (9 years old) for two weeks after a nasty attack by a wild boar (big open wound on the stomach and neck). Every day we had to clean his wounds twice and administer medicine. The dog is very nice and there was no problem handling him, so I have experience in this direction as well. What I would like to know about the of the dog/pet

Size doesn't matter and neither does age. We prefer calmer dogs that don't go after furniture and things, some accident in the form of a puddle and other stuff can just sometimes happen, that's to be expected :)
