My name is Eva, and I am a special education teacher currently on maternity leave. I have two sons, aged 4 years and 1.5 years.

I prefer providing childcare in my own home, but I am also happy to babysit elsewhere. As I am on maternity leave, my younger son is always with me during daytime childcare. For evening babysitting, however, I am available to care for children on my own, without my children present.

At our home, children can enjoy swings, a slide, arts and crafts supplies, a bouldering wall, and many other activities.

In my approach to childcare, I aim to maintain clear boundaries while remaining kind and supportive. I actively use natural consequences to help children understand the results of their actions (for example: “If we don’t put the balls back into the ball pit when we’re finished, we won’t be able to play with it next time.”).

I also focus on helping children understand their emotions and learn healthy ways to manage them.
