About me

My name is Julie. I graduated from a six-year academic grammar school, after which I spent some time travelling. I am currently working as a guide in a forest kindergarten, while at the same time studying Leisure and Recreation Pedagogy in a distance-learning programme at Palacký University in Olomouc.
For six months, I worked as an au pair for a family with three children in Switzerland. I spent most of my time with the children after school – driving them to their extracurricular activities and sports, taking care of their morning and evening routines, creating programmes for them, and babysitting in the evenings when the parents were busy. We communicated in English and French, so many of the activities and games I prepared were focused on language development and general knowledge.
I have always had a very close relationship with children. From an early age, I was actively involved in organisations such as the Scouts and the Brontosaurus Movement, where games, events, and educational courses were an integral part of everyday life. I am currently responsible for organising suburban day camps for children at the Atletika Poruba club, and I previously worked there for a long time as a coach for young children in athletics.
I enjoy working in teams and with children. I am passionate about creative activities such as crafting and painting, I am learning to play the guitar, and whenever I have time, I enjoy hiking in the mountains and climbing.

Má angličtina je na úrovni B2. Složila jsem maturitu z angličtiny a prošla vzdělávacím kurzem ve Velké Británii. Německy jsem se učila šest let, ale přesto zde nejsou mé znalosti natolik obsáhlé. Francouzsky se domluvím, jelikož jsem žila šest měsíců ve Švýcarsku a starala se o děti, jejichž rodným jazykem byla právě francouzština.
