About me

Hello,

my name is Lucie, I'm 40 years old and I've been babysitting regularly for more than 7 years. I can take care of a baby, or a toddler and entertain older children.

I am flexible with my time, I am happy to look after your little treasures during the day and night or on the weekend.

I like to develop creativity and imagination in children and teach them new things in a fun way. I will explain to them why a frog jumps (and not run), build a sandcastle with them, or turn the path from the playground home into an obstacle course with tasks.

I actively take care of children - I invent games for them and teach them general self-sufficiency. I do homework and preparation for the next day with them. I communicate with children in Czech, Czech-English (I teach them vocabulary and connections) or purely in English.

I will cook something good and do the needed cleaning so that you return to a cosy home, not "to the battlefield" :-)

A friendly approach, respect, natural authority, and learning through play are key for me.

Wandering around the world, I broaden my horizons and will pass on the same open-minded approach to life to your children. To notice the beauty and joy of everyday life, to enjoy cracking an egg while cooking and to be proud of each progress and thing they learn :-)

I can take care of a sick child or pet, give injections and medicines, bandage a wound and rehabilitate with movement. I cared for my grandmother at home for a long time. After the Business Academy, I worked for a year in a kindergarten as an assistant to a physically and mentally disabled girl - in addition to playing, I also developed regular activities with her.

I grew up in the village surrounded by animals, looked after pets as a catsitter and have had my pack of cats for 15 years :-)

After 20 years of working in international companies, I decided to work fully from home, and the time spent with children is a great balance of a severe work environment for me :-)

I have 4 older cats at home, I do aquascaping, I write poems (in Czech and English) and I am preparing a book of stories for children. I wear barefoot, practice yoga and am interested in a healthy approach to life and the planet, but I don't give up snacking or meat, I just keep everything balanced :-)

Before I babysit, I shower and put on clean clothes that the kitties don't have access to (no cat hairs and no allergens).

The hourly rate starts at CZK 300 and depends on the number of children being looked after and the level of care. The price for overnight and multiple-day care is up to our agreement.
