About me

I have been babysitting or working with children since high school, whether in my family, where I took care of a sibling who is thirteen years younger, babysitting up to three siblings of different ages in families (taking them home after school, spending afternoons and evenings, putting them to sleep,...), and working as a leader in a scout. During and after university, I occasionally continued babysitting in families and working at camps. Since 2021, I have been working in an informal children's group for the age category 2-4 years, where my skills and enthusiasm for working with the youngest have deepened. At the same time, I also babysit some of them at their homes. With kids I enjoy reading and looking through books, inventing activities from simple cooking together in the kitchen to art projects, or just following children's imaginations while playing. Outside of the children's group, I am engaged in cultural journalism, interested in music, digging into the "archives" when researching and discovering them. Since spring, I've been trying to spend time in nature on hikes as much as possible.
