About me

My name is Valentýna, I’m 22 years old and I’ve lived in Prague, specifically in Holešovice, my whole life. I’m currently studying at Charles University at the Institute of International Studies, where I’m completing my bachelor’s degree this year. In my free time, I tutor English, work in a café, and volunteer at a retirement home.

I’ve always had a close relationship with children, I’ve loved playing with them, talking, and coming up with creative activities. I often babysat for family friends and helped children with their schoolwork. In the summer of 2023, I spent two months in Italy taking care of a little girl named Ilay, who is half Spanish and half Italian, looking after her during the day and in the evening.

I offer parents responsible, reliable, and caring babysitting with an individual approach to each child. I love doing creative projects, reading, spending time outdoors, and helping with homework. For me, trust and a sense of safety are essential, both for the child and the parents.

I would describe myself as calm, empathetic, optimistic, and naturally good with children. Thanks to my volunteering experience in a retirement home and my work with people, I’ve learned to be patient and understanding. Parents can count on me to care for their child with respect, attention, and a smile.

Ráda fotím, peču, tvořím, maluju a sportuju, takže mám blízko ke kreativním činnostem. Baví mě trávit čas s lidmi, zejména s dětmi a seniory, se kterými se setkávám jako dobrovolnice v domově pro seniory jako taková „adoptovaná vnučka“. Proto bych ráda pracovala někde, kde mohu využít svou tvořivost, empatii a komunikativnost:)
