About me

My name is Dorota, I am 23 years old and I am a cheerful, creative and liberal person. I graduated from a secondary technical school, mechanical engineering, and now I am studying a bachelor's degree in pedagogical studies or leisure time pedagogy.
During my teenage years, I dealt with all kinds of dance/movement clubs from majorettes, through gymnastics to disco dance. I took piano lessons in Zuš for 5 years, as a self-taught musician I have been playing guitar for 7 years and I am a graduate of solo singing. As for current hobbies, I like cycling, hiking, and because I have a dog, I spend a lot of free time with her.
Experience: five years ago, a friend of mine asked me to babysit her one-year-old girl once a week so that she would also have time for herself. So I immediately agreed, which began our interweaving of life paths. When we went from screaming and babbling together to the present to the story of what a day she had in kindergarten 😌 With the fact that our younger brother joined our journey and we spend time together walking to the dam, bathing, playing on the playground or dancing or theater performance at home 😄.
As for the numbers, it is a 5-year practice at least once a week for 3 hours. When I took care of a one-year-old baby, after a simultaneous almost 6-year-old girl and for successful training, then the same with my brother, who is now 3 years old. It was a 3-hour babysitting, the whole day and even the sleepover is already behind us. And over time, sometimes someone from friends joined us, so there were also situations of all-day babysitting of 4 children (2 years, 5 and 6 years and the oldest boy 8 years).
Otherwise, practical skills are from bottle feeding, snack to main meal. Changing diapers, putting on the potty after the toilet. Bathing and falling asleep. And, of course, all the other things associated with spending time together with children.
I watch the children like a sharpie, so as far as injuries are concerned, none have ever occurred (maximum bruised butt or scraped knee). Anyway, I have completed a first aid course in a driving school and I used to go to first aid competitions at primary school. So I know how to keep a cool head and I know what to do, even if, God forbid, it is more than an abrasion.
I choose the content of the program according to the time allocation and weather, in any case, I always try to involve some outdoor activity. When the children have a fantasy, I join their chosen game, whether dinosaurs or circus, etc. When children are for creativity, we draw, compose and cut out, and with my help we glue stones, eyes, buttons. And dancing and singing to songs is popular.
Working with children fulfills me and my approach to them is with complete respect and humility. Whatever situations I try to communicate with the children so that there is a mutual understanding of the needs of both parties.
