About me

I am a veterinary medicine graduate and am currently preparing for diploma recognition in the Czech Republic (nostrification), so I will not be practicing as a veterinarian here over the next year. I have lived with dogs my whole life; at home I have a small eight-year-old dog. I have extensive hands-on experience in animal care from my veterinary work, I can administer medications, and I understand the behavior of dogs and cats; at university I completed a course in ethology and cynology. I offer dog walking and pet sitting at the client’s home in Prague; as a marathon runner, I can provide active walks or easy runs according to your instructions and your dog’s needs. I will follow your daily routine (feeding, water, hygiene, exercise) and can care for dogs, cats, small animals, and birds, and—by arrangement—livestock as well. I speak English and have intermediate Czech; I will use the language and exact cues your dog already knows, and, on request, I will reinforce them or teach new words in the language you choose. I conduct command training at the client’s home and during walks (in parks and nearby), always according to the agreed rules and the dog’s abilities. I am fully flexible with time.

What I would like to know about the of the dog/pet

I work with all animals, except in extreme cases of aggression in large breeds. I offer runs with active breeds (meeting your dog’s daily exercise needs—prevention of stress, depression, over-arousal, and destructive behavior). I can provide basic obedience training with puppies and adult dogs.
