I have been surrounded by animals since I was a child, from raising Weimaraners to caring for a small Yorkshire Terrier. I am currently a proud owner of two Great Danes, meaning I am very comfortable and experienced with giant breeds.
I also adore cats; we have two rescues at home. Caring for them has taught me to be patient and to always respect the unique personality of every pet I look after.
For me, the most important thing is that both the pet and I feel relaxed together. That’s why I don't feel entirely comfortable sitting dogs with aggressive tendencies toward people. However, I don’t mind at all if a dog is reactive toward other animals—I’m very used to the strength and pull of my Great Danes, so I can handle a strong dog with confidence.
When it comes to cats, I’m prepared for anything! My rescue cats have taught me plenty of patience, so I don’t mind if a cat has a bit of an 'attitude' or is less than friendly at first.
