I’ve loved animals my whole life. I’ve had a tortoise since I was little. Over the years, I’ve also taken care of a cat and a small dog. If I were to dog-sit for you, I’d take them for walks, refresh their water and food, and occasionally brush their fur a little. When caring for cat pets, I would feed them (dry or can food), change their water, spend some time with them, play and give them a little cuddle.
As for tortoises, I have many years of experience with the Testudo Marginata; I can administer some medication (depending on the type, of course), change the water, and feed them (with lettuce, vegetables, or grass picked from outside - depending on their habits). I’d happily send the owners a photo from a walk or a visit!
I’d be happy to take care of friendly, good-natured animals, whether they’re laid-back or energetic. I have no problem with male or female dogs, or male or female cats. The only thing I’m not sure how to handle are animals in heat.
