About me

Hello dear parents,
my name is Tereza, I am 22 years old. In 2025, I successfully completed my Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy at Masaryk University in Brno and I am now continuing with my Master’s studies at the Faculty of Education at Charles University in Prague. Thanks to my education, I can also offer support in speech and language prevention through simple exercises and activities that encourage language development.
I have extensive experience working with children. Since childhood, I have looked after my younger relatives. During the pandemic, I helped children from both primary and lower secondary school with tutoring in English, Czech, and Mathematics. English is not a problem for me, even when communicating with children. In the summers of 2021 and 2022, I worked at day camps for preschool children. I also gained practical experience in a special kindergarten, a speech therapy primary school, and a special pedagogical centre. Furthermore, I have experience from a Montessori kindergarten and elementary school, and I have led an after-school club focused on developing communication and motor skills. Occasionally, I have also looked after children at weddings.
I truly value children’s honesty and energy, and I always approach them with empathy and respect for their individual needs. I enjoy spending time with them outdoors on the playground or on walks, but I also love doing creative activities, painting, and playing games together. I am a confident cook, so I am happy to prepare meals or snacks for children if needed, and it is also no problem for me to do light household chores during babysitting.

Získala jsem zkušenosti s dětmi s narušenou komunikační schopností, vývojovými poruchami řeči a specifickými poruchami učení. Pracovala jsem také s dětmi se sluchovým postižením, zrakovým postižením i kombinovanými vadami. Setkala jsem se s dětmi s poruchami autistického spektra, s mentálním postižením různých stupňů, tělesným postižením a s dětmi s dlouhodobými zdravotními a chronickými onemocněními. Pro lepší podporu dětí se sluchovým postižením nebo s obtížemi v komunikaci jsem navíc absolvovala dva certifikované moduly českého znakového jazyka.
