Hotel babysitting in Prague (Praha)

Jana

Jana looked after my 4.5-year-old girl and 1-year old boy whilst I had a business trip to Prague for one week. To be honest I was really nervous handing over my two children to Jana because we had only met through this website, but she was FANTASTIC and by the end of the first day my children did not want to leave her. On the first morning we arranged to meet at my office in downtown Prague, she bought colouring pens and paper and toys for the kids to play with so she could get used to them for an hour, then she took them out to the park in Prague. She was very trustworthy and sent me photos every hour via Facebook messenger so I knew exactly where they were and what they were doing. She knows all the great kids parks in Prague and my kids loved her so much. We are now friends on Facebook and will stay friends for a very long time. If I ever go back to Prague I will book her again without hesitation. Her English is great because she used to live in the UK. She is a mother herself and she even bought a blanket and socks for my one year old. She listened to my instructions about healthy eating and bought my kids bananas and other healthy snacks. We LOVE YOU Jana :)

Augusta

Augusta was *wonderful* with my English-speaking three year old. She took her on outings (so many!), read to her (endlessly!), and kept her well fed and well slept. They had so much fun together. I visited Prague for a work event and needed five 8-hour days of care in a row... so I was nervous how my kid would feel about it. But my kid was immediately comfortable with her, and it turned out great. Augusta also made *me* feel more comfortable by planning outings ahead (and checking them with me), making health and safety her clear first priority, and by sending lots of text and photo updates throughout the day. During our trip, we were staying with another family with small children. Though it was arguably more work for her, Augusta played with the other kids too, particularly when they were interested in spending time with my own kid. She was also very flexible about last-minute changes in timing, and even on staying late one night. My kid and I are going to miss her. If we're ever in Prague again, I'll definitely be asking for her help!

Dania

Dania took care of our 2 years old for two full weeks in Prague while we were working from here. She was coming up early in the morning to our place at around 7.45 AM, brought him back for his nap around 1PM and when needed also took care of him in the afternoon/evening. She played with him outside and indoors, showed him around, fed him (healthy - she is a good cook and knows what little ones like and need), as well as bathed him and put him to bed when needed. She is full of great ideas to fill the day of the little ones. She is punctual, careful, kind, entertaining, fun... She was also very careful in exchanging with us and in letting us know what she was doing or where she was going. Her English is excellent which of course also makes communication easy and she also speaks perfectly Spanish and Italian, her native language. We could not have been happier and our son really loved her and spent time with her. Highly recommended fantastic nanny.

Linda

Linda was taking care of our 2-year-old son for two weeks, while we were in Brno. It surprised me that my son immediately positively reacted to her presence, we only had an hour of sitting the first day to get to know each other and she already attracted his attention. She took great care of him - sleeping, changing the diapers, eating was no problem. She took him to the playroom to be also in contact with other children, as he is used to being in creché. As our son visits a German kindergarden, we ran the conversation in German. She speaks German very well. She is very flexible with her schedule and tries to adapt at most to our needs. She is also very responsive and reliable and a very warm person. We highly recommend her.

Valeriia

Val was fantastic! We needed a babysitter for one night to look after our 8 year old twins and 6 year old boy while on holiday. We were uneasy about how it would work, and how we could trust leaving Val in charge of our kids and holiday accommodation. She put us at ease as she was happy to jump on a video call in advance and share examples and evidence of her past work with kids. On the day, she came prepared with games and immediately engaged with the kids (which is always a good sign - great babysitters focus on creating a good relationship with the kids rather than with the parents :)). The kids had an awesome time, and kept us regularly updated on their fun. Would definitely use Val again if we were in Prague, and recommend her to others doing the same :)

Veronika

Veronika stayed with us last summer in France for two months to look after my two daughters, Eloise, 2 years old, and Olivia, who was just a month and a half when Veronika arrived. I was impressed to see how naturally at ease she immediately was with both my toddler and my newborn. She looked after the baby a lot since my 2 year old was having a bit of a hard time sharing her mother for the first time. I felt very confident right away leaving my tiny baby with her. Veronika is extremely gentle, patient and caring. She is very attentive to the children and knows how to read the most imperceptible signs of tiredness, hunger, a dirty nappy, boredom or else. She loves playing with both toddlers and babies and does miracles stimulating them, making them smile, laugh and teaching them new skills day after day. She is extremely hardworking and committed, always taking initiatives to help around the house. She is also very independent and knows right away what needs to be done, without needing to be given detailed instructions. Esther de M.

Veronika

My wife and I would like to say that Veronika is the BEST sitter we have had in any of the hotels/countries we have visited. This includes Portugal, Spain, Romania, Italy, France, and Slovenia. She is the absolute best. We can’t imagine a more intelligent, adaptable and sincere caregiver. My son is sometimes a little rambunctious. She very easily built rapporte with him and they had a wonderful time. Now he wants me to fly her to our home to watch him. Lol. You will not be disappointed. My wife is pretty critical of sitters and Veronika really impressed her. She very easily left us with that comfortable feeling only a parent can understand. Thank you again Veronica...you are an impressive young lady and we wish you the best.

Didi looked after our 14 months old boy! And she is amazing! Our son loved her and we loved her. It was the first time ever having a nanny and she made the experience awesome! I didn’t even have time to “introduce” them but she came prepared with toys and songs and a great mood and attitude and he immediately fell in love with her and kept smiling all day and playing around! She was sooo awesome, she even made all of us food that was delicious !! And our son ate chicken when normally he is not very impressed with it haha would love to have Didi every day if possible!! She is truly an amazing, clearly experienced nanny with a natural talent and love for kids (and I am not usually easy to please when it comes to my baby 😂) thanks again Didi!!Looking forward to next time!

We were supersatisfied how her care about our baby. She is able to Care about 3months old baby as well as 2 years old babyboy. There was no problem with feeding, changing nappies, strollering. Even playing time has been full of various activities according to his current age. Our son has been happy to see Katerina and superinterested in activities they'll gonna do together. Sometimes she handled tricky situations even better than us. So you can just count on her and be cool when she takes care about your baby. Rated 5*.
