About me

Hello,
My name is Barbora and I would like to offer my help to families looking for reliable and caring childcare.

I have extensive experience from summer camps, where I was fully responsible for groups of children aged 6 to 15. I led week-long programs both independently and as part of a team – including games, trips, learning activities, and daily care. Besides camps, I have also worked with children during weekend events, church groups, and tutoring sessions. Additionally, I provided personal assistance for individuals with ASD through the organization, where most of my clients were children.

I graduated in special education, specializing in psychopedics (children with intellectual disabilities) and etopedics (children with behavioral or psychological challenges). Thanks to this, I understand the diverse needs of children and strive to approach each child with sensitivity and respect.

I am very active, create meaningful and fun programs, and try to make the time with children more than just “babysitting” – a shared experience that helps them grow and enjoy themselves. I also have experience tutoring English and Math at camps and privately, and I have led financial literacy programs for children – all in a playful way.

Children are close to me not only professionally but also personally – I grew up in a large family and have experience caring for children in church communities as well.

Hra na klavír a flétnu, základy kytary a ukulele. Amatérské kreslení, vedla jsem několik hodin výtvarné výchovy. Mám zálibu v kaligrafii. Tanec balet a scénický tanec. Sporty jen na amatérské úrovni. Preferuji jízdu na kole, plavání a badminton.
