Hello! 😊 I'm Kateřina (Katka/Káťa) and I'm 20 years old. I'm in my second year of studying psychology as a single major at university.
I've been working as a personal assistant for almost a year now in an organization that supports people on the autism spectrum. For a second year in a row, I will be a supporting assistant at a week-long stay for children with autism spectrum disorder.
I also have about 3 years of experience with tutoring Czech language (preparation for entrance exams to grammar school) occasionally English language as well, for which I have a B2 level certificate (preparation for the school-leaving exam).
I also volunteered at a nursing home for a year, where I provided companionship to the seniors.
As for babysitting, I have looked after my younger sister and brother several times. They are 4 years apart, but I’ve always got along very well with both. 😊 I always try to adapt myself to the children and be forthcoming as much as possible. I really enjoy doing activities with them like outdoor walks and playing around at the playground, or even painting and crafting at home, depending on what the children feel like doing. Of course, I don't mind helping them with their homework either. 😊 Among my hobbies, there are singing (I've been singing in a commercial band for 3 years), playing the guitar, painting, reading, cooking, and traveling. I also really enjoy spending time with my ferret, Vito and with other pets. 😊
