Hello, I have experience with animals, mainly from my family. We had fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs at home. I have less experience with birds and lizards, but I think I could handle looking after them too. Unfortunately, I am afraid of snakes and I don't dare to approach them.
Overall, I get along very well with animals and I like them very much. At the moment, I only have fish, but I am thinking about getting bigger animals. We have several dogs and cats in my family. I live alone and I have the opportunity to have animals in my apartment, so I have no problem with looking after them at my home, overnight, etc. I live in the city center, but I have Letná Park and Stromovka Park very close by, where I could possibly take the dog ​​for a walk. If I had a dog to look after for a longer period of time, I would be happy to take it on the weekend, for example, to the forest in Kunratice for a longer walk (of course, if he has no problem traveling by metro and a longer walk is suitable for him). I work full-time, but my job is 5 minutes from home, so I can stop at home for lunch and take the dog out for a while during the day as well. Alternatively, I can also take a home office. I don't have much experience with more demanding breeds or traumatized animals, so I would prefer friendly animals with a problem-free nature.
