About me
I have had a close relationship with animals my whole life, and caring for them is a completely natural part of my daily life, not just a job. I graduated from a science-focused high school, where part of my studies included caring for terrarium animals and small rodents.
I have long-term and diverse experience with dogs. I have owned a cocker spaniel mix, a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog, and currently I have a Labrador–Staffordshire mix. Thanks to this, I am experienced not only with smaller, calmer dogs but also with larger, stronger, and more demanding breeds. I am not afraid of big dogs – on the contrary, I know how to work with them, read their behavior, and establish safe and clear communication.
I have worked at an agility training facility, where I learned how to better understand dog behavior, respond to it, and adapt to each individual dog. This allows me to handle more energetic or easily distracted dogs and adjust to their pace.
I have completed a dog first aid course, a course in animal capture and handling at the University of Veterinary Sciences in Brno, and three dog training courses. I also have experience administering medication and providing basic care, so I can handle situations where an animal needs more than just standard care.
I also have experience with cats and other animals – besides my dog, I currently care for a rabbit, a turtle, and quails, so I am used to adapting to different species and their specific needs.
I offer pet sitting, dog walking, and animal transport. I am comfortable handling larger dogs as long as they can walk on a regular leash. Reactive dogs are not a problem for me, as long as they can wear a muzzle.
I can also accompany your pet to the vet (charged hourly + fuel costs), and I offer transport of animals up to 200 km (1500 CZK + fuel), for example to new homes.
When caring for animals, my goal is to keep them as calm and comfortable as possible. I follow their usual routine, feed them exactly according to your instructions (including weighing food if needed), and I am experienced with animals that have special needs (allergies, intolerances, skin conditions, etc.).
I consider communication essential – I send photos and videos, provide updates after each visit, and prefer communication via WhatsApp. If I notice anything unusual or if your pet seems unwell or behaves differently, I will inform you immediately.
If you are interested, I also offer basic dog training. The price is the standard hourly rate for sitting/walking plus 200 CZK per 40 minutes of training. We can work on specific skills, commands, or situations (car rides, passing other dogs, long-line recall, etc.). I train the dog independently and then provide you with clear instructions on how to continue the training.
My goal is for your pet to feel as comfortable, safe, and understood as possible, even when you are not around. 💛
What I would like to know about the of the dog/pet
I provide pet care primarily in your home, where your animals feel the most comfortable and safe. I offer walking, feeding, administering medication, as well as additional care such as grooming or bathing – always based on the specific needs of your pet and your preferences.
I am comfortable with all dog breeds and sizes – I am used to larger and stronger dogs and I am not afraid of them. Reactive dogs are not a problem for me, as long as they can wear a muzzle. I do not walk or care for dogs in heat or highly aggressive dogs.
I have many years of experience with both dogs and cats – I had my own cat for 16 years and have had three dogs in total; currently I have one. Thanks to this, I understand their needs, behavior, and signals very well. Of course, I also provide plenty of affection, cuddles, playtime, and walks if your dog enjoys them.
I care not only for dogs and cats, but also for other animals – I am comfortable with smaller animals such as rabbits, rodents, poultry, sheep, or goats. The only animals I do not have experience with are large farm animals such as cows or horses.
In addition to pet sitting and walking, I also offer animal transport, vet visits, and individual training. If you are interested, we can focus on specific skills or situations you would like your dog to improve.
Smaller animals can also be cared for at my home (up to 1 month), as long as they have their own cage and food.
I am used to specific requirements – I have no problem feeding a BARF diet, administering medication, ointments, or other treatments prescribed by a veterinarian. I always try to follow the routine your pet is used to as closely as possible.
My goal is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable, and to feel that even a new person respects their needs. 💛
