O mně

My name is Sushma. I am currently doing my master's in psychology here in Czech Republic.
I have 1.5 years of teaching experience (as a Grade Teacher of 3rd and 5th graders and was responsible for teaching English, Social Studies, Science and Creative Writing) along with some volunteering experience in an organization working in the rescue and reintegration of street and abused children. Thus, I organized different workshops and awareness programs about 'The importance of Mental Health and Counseling' to children ranging from the age of 13-18 and teachers in 3 schools in my country after receiving my training in the field of Psycho-social counseling so that the children, instructors and caregivers could be aware of the rising problems related to mental health like depression and anxiety, issues related to addiction and have an insight about the different ways in which we can help ourselves and others when in need.
I enjoyed every moment during my time teaching and hence, my goal is to pursue a career in the field of education either teaching and researching or counseling children. Other than that, as the eldest of three siblings (big sister to my little sister and brother) and an aunt to my beautiful niece and nephew, I have been around growing children a lot and have taken care of them solely in many instances.
I enjoy reading novels and Dan Brown is one of my favourite writers. Other than that, I enjoy crocheting and hiking. I am very fond of dogs and I love that there are so many dogs and parks in this beautiful city of Prague.
